Chromatic auto-detect with note, octave, cents, and Hz. Color feedback locks green near in-tune; the gauge updates smoothly with low jitter.

• Key / transposition — concert or common band & orchestra keys so the display matches your written part.
• Tone / drone — sustain a reference pitch (with optional fifth). Voices: Pure, Warm, Reed. Octave − / +.
• A4 calibration — reference pitch 415–466 Hz in Settings.
• Input meter — signal strength and live dBFS (0 = digital max; normal levels are negative), plus a clear no-signal state. Mic processing is optimized for pitch accuracy.

Professional click with intelligent meter feel, mixed-meter maps, and a loud clean Strike voice that follows system volume. Lookahead Web Audio scheduling keeps time rock-solid.

• Tempo — 30–250+ BPM (up to ♪ rates for compound meters and maps), tap tempo, − / +, presets. Double-tap the big number to reset (120 single meter; ♪ = 240 in Map).
• Time signature & count — common meters plus compound/additive feels (e.g. 6/8 In 2 / In 6, 5/8 2+3 / 3+2). BPM converts so pulse speed stays true when you change count.
• Map (mixed meter) — loop bars with different time signatures on a shared eighth-note pulse (♪). Sample loop, up to 16 bars, save up to 3 named maps, bar strip and quick-load chips while Map is on.
• Subdivision — labels match the meter (x/4: Beat · 8ths · Triplets · 16ths; x/8: 8ths · 16ths · Triplets · 32nds).
• Accents — tap pads to weight beats; stronger on group heads and map accents.
• Across tabs — start the click, then use Tuner, Record, or Journal; status chip stays available.
• Practice timer — global session timer from every tab.

Practice recordings stay on this device. Library: favorites, rename, bulk actions, and A/B compare.

• Manual record — start/stop with level meter and waveform while capturing.
• Listen — hands-free: detects when you play, records the phrase, stops after silence. Optional auto-playback after each recording.
• Library — star recordings, filter All / ★, swipe to delete, bulk select, A/B compare two recordings, share via the system sheet.
• Metronome + record — run the click or drone while recording.
• Quality — AAC/MP4 when supported for best mobile quality and sharing.

Lean practice journal with streak, week dots, and full-screen writing.

• Timeline — week dots and streak. Collapsible “This week” card with days / minutes / recordings tiles and a settable weekly day goal (Off · 3–7d).
• Entries — title, rich text (bold, lists, headings, quotes), mood, minutes, linked recording, photo, voice memo, location.
• Star & share — favorites and system share when available.
• Delete — swipe left or delete from the editor. Linked recordings stay in Record.

Move to a new phone or browser without losing your library.

• Export all — settings (including Map), journal, and recordings.

Microphone audio is processed on your device. We do not upload your recordings or journal.

• Optional analytics (page views) may run if configured; practice media stays local.
• Export is under your control — you choose where the backup goes.
• Location — only if you tap GPS on a journal entry; never background tracking.
• Clearing site data removes local data — export first if you care about it.
