How to use this
Set tempo
Drag the wheel left or right (the page still scrolls up and down). Or use Tap tempo. Range 40–240 BPM.
Pick a meter
Choose 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, or 6/8. Pads light on each beat; beat 1 is accented so downbeats are clear.
Stay with the click
Keep this tab open while you play. Some browsers pause audio when the tab is in the background.
Why a metronome in the browser

Is this metronome really free?
Yes. No download, no account. Custom mixed-meter maps and click export are Pro on iPhone.
Do I need to install a metronome app?
No. It runs in Safari or Chrome. Add to Home Screen if you want an icon. Use the iPhone app when you want maps, export, and a click that survives switching apps.
Can I practice odd meters here?
This page covers 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, and 6/8. Mixed-meter maps (5/8, 7/8, shared eighth pulse) are on iPhone Pro.
Why did the click stop when I switched apps?
